Everyone loves a good shoe. We can all appreciate the beauty of a well-crafted heel or boot (or at least how good they make your butt look), but sometimes you just wanna throw on some sneaks and call it a day. Well fear not fashionistas, today’s designers are making it easier than ever to stay fabulous while rocking some sweet kicks. I’ve scoured one of my favorite fashion blogs Nitrolicious.com to bring you some of the best in designer sneaker collabs.
Let’s start with the absurd shall we? Jeremy Scott is never one to be understated, and these Teddy Bear sneakers for Adidas are no exception. Furry, pink, stuffed, and with arms (?) these designer kicks probably fall into the collector’s item category, rather than the hop on your longboard and show of your skills category.
Ah McQueen, you left us too soon, but yet are still leaving your legacy everywhere. The McQueen collaboration with Puma will give you give you way more wings than Redbull, and keep you looking more funky fresh. In styles for both men and women, these sleak sneaks are the perfect finishing touch to that “Oh don’t mind me, I’m just so cool and cas” look.
tokidoki has always been a beast unto itself. After witnessing the obsessed fans firsthand while working at LeSportSac for the launch of the tokidoki collection, I know that people go crazy for this Italian’s (yes, the designer is Simone Legno, an Italian) graphic collections. The Onitsuka Tiger x tokidoki Holiday Collection is an awesome combo of high tops, low tops, mens, womens, and anime.
Finally, my personal favorite. Missioni for Converse (sigh). This is the second year that the two iconic brands have joined forces, thereby making them doubly awesome. Loving the combo if the classic converse shape, the instantly recognizable Missoni patterns, and the addition of the tan leaher on the tongue. To quote the wise poet Rachel Zoe, I DIE.
